Students at Monteagle Elementary took advantage of the 100+ degree temperatures last week by baking cookies in staff members’ cars with the intense heat.  The purpose of the experiment conducted by the science classes was to investigate the steps involved with the scientific method.  Taten McBee is shown here getting the cookies out and later reported that these cookies “tasted great.”
