As Director of Special Education, Mrs. Turney is responsibile for providing educational services to students with a variety of special needs.

Mrs. Turney has 25 years experience in the educational field. She serves as a Board Member for the Tennessee Association of Administrators in Special Education.

Her past experiences include teaching at Whitwell High School, Jasper Middle School, South Pittsburg High School, and as a county-wide Consulting Teacher in Marion County for Special Education.
