As Supervisor of At-Risk Intervention, Dr. Avera is responsible for fulfilling all the requirements for the following Federal Programs:

• Title I Pre-School Programs

Dr. Avera has 24 years experience in education. Her past experience includes 14 years teaching
Pre-Kindergarten through first grade. She has ten years experience working with Federal Programs.

Dr. Avera received a Bachelor's degree form the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, and a Doctorate from Trevecca University - Nashville.

She and her husband, Joseph, enjoy living in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley in Marion County.
