I have been tested for COVID-19, but I do not have results yet, what should I do?

  • Stay home. Fill out the Mandatory Employee Reporting Form and notify your supervisor.
  • You must stay home until you get the results. Send test results to Tanya Tate in Human Resources at ttate@mctns.net

Note: If you are quarantined because you are considered an ‘exposure’ to someone that tested positive, you may return to work after a 10 day quarantine with no symptoms or quarantine can end after Day 7 if a diagnostic specimen tests negative and if no symptoms were reported during daily monitoring. The specimen may be collected and tested within 48 hours before (Day 5) the time of planned quarantine discontinuation, but quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than after Day 7. The tested individual cannot have been in contact with the positive individual for 5 days prior to testing.  Household contacts to a positive case must quarantine the full 10 days.
